Bryant was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on August 11, 1992. While much of Bryant’s childhood took place in Rock Valley, Iowa, his family moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, when he entered middle school. Bryant spent most of his time in school focusing on growing skills and pursuing things he loved – playing basketball, singing and performing in musicals, and building relationships with friends and mentors.

Bryant graduated from Sioux Falls Christian High School in 2011. His desire to continue playing basketball in College while also finding a school that allowed him to double major in Music and Business led him to Covenant College. Over the next four years, Bryant continued the same path he did in middle and high school–playing varsity basketball for the Scots, participating in the choir, and building impactful friendships that would eventually point him toward pursuing a legal career. Following his graduation from Covenant in 2015, Bryant found his way to Des Moines, Iowa, where he attended Drake University Law school in 2019.

During his first year at Drake, Bryant began clerking for Spaulding & Shaull, where he remained through graduation. Bryant graduated from Drake University in May of 2022, earning his J.D. and M.B.A, and subsequently passing the bar in September of that year. Bryant has remained at Spaulding & Shaull, joining the fight with the other fantastic attorneys in the firm, working hard to represent those individuals who have been injured at work or experienced some form of discrimination in the workplace. Whether it was his teachers, friends, mentors in College, or his family’s constant presence in his life, Bryant has always had a robust support system helping him along and offering advice in times of difficulty. Now Bryant hopes to be that person for others and his clients.

Bryant continues to spend his time outside work with his friends, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, playing pick-up basketball games around Des Moines, and making the trip up to his family’s lake cabin in northern Minnesota.
